ENVIRONMENT | NET ZERO

NET-ZERO

An initiative of training/spreading awareness among your students on the importance of Net Zero Emissions. This will help students to become aware citizens by pledging for reducing their C-footprint. Principles of reduction and reuse of products and materials help in saving environmental degradation and curb Climate change.  It also helps in reducing the amount of waste going to landfills for dumping. Combating climate change is at the top of everyone’s priority, from governments to businesses to individuals. Reaching net-zero is one way we can assist this.

  1. Educating students on Net Zero emissions, SDGs, and Climate change.
  2. Provide concentrated outreach and operational attention with the goal of diverting all recyclable and compostable waste.
  3. Document best practices and share them in form of a digital booklet.
  4. Systematically change recycling behaviors to reduce contamination and climate change.
  5. Advance a culture of recycling and sustainability.

BADLAAV

Puberty is a crucial period in an adolescent’s life that is strewn with numerous challenges and unique experiences. A teenager during this period requires adequate and proper guidance so that they can efficiently make sense of the new experiences and changes that they are going through. WOMEN for INDIA has identified two core issues that the adolescents, especially young girls are often adversely affected by. Few of them are menstruation, lack of knowledge about sexuality and sexual health, and sexual abuse.

PARIVARTAN

Women have always been marginalized and relegated to the status of a  subjugated class in the Indian society. In our country rural women suffer from the double whammy of being both economically and socially invisible. Social invisibility is a result of the general status of second-class citizens, usually accorded to Women. It is not surprising that developmental programs which do not take into account the aspirations of women are not effective in achieving their objectives. The growing realization that women and girls are truly productive, hard working adults who have coped with the battle for survival from a very young age, makes their participation in the development process increasingly necessary and imperative. This is the critical area of concern for forming the base and objective of this project
