While the #coronawarriors are staying away from their houses and working 24*7, our hospitals are lacking in providing proper safety kits to the medical staff. Many doctors, nurses, and paramedic staff have been tested positive for Covid-19 in the last one month in Rajasthan. Women for India worked on collecting funds to distribute PPE kits to the medical staff of far-flung areas in Rajasthan. With each kit that we donate, we provide employment to 3 women.
It is important that in times like this we show solidarity and come forward to help the ones in need. Now that our government is moving towards Unlock 1, it is very very important to stop the community spread, says Ravinder Dahiya.
WOMENforINDIA Foundation has stepped up to this cause and will be doing its best for society. The funds generated from this campaign will be directly used to distribute masks to the people in Delhi to prevent the community from spread in the capital.
